Muir Woods

On our last day we had a tour scheduled to Muir Woods. That morning, around 4 AM, is when we got the call about Geoff's accident. We really didn't want to go and do anything. We really wanted to be in Texas with McKinzie. Brian checked flights and it wasn't possible. We decided to go on our tour and keep our scheduled flight that was the next morning.

We tried to enjoyed the sights around us. We were teary and quiet. It ended up being a cloudy, dreary day both physically and emotionally.

Our tour also took us into Sausalito where we had lunch and wondered around for a bit. It was nice.

 Before we headed back to our rental Karlee had to try her hand at Ms. Pac-man. Then of course Brian had to play too.

I'm so glad we were able to take this trip with Karlee. We had a great time together. We were up early and returned back to our rental usually just before dark everyday. We were exhausted from all our walking.
