Saturday Conference fun

We have had a fun day today! The original plan was to drive to Lake Geneve while listening to conference then eat lunch and canoe for the two hour break in between sessions and listen to conference on the way home.

We did drive to Lake Geneve and listen to the first session. When we arrived it was still raining. The forecast was 60% chance of rain. We ate our lunch in the truck then went and bowled a couple of games.

CJ got the first strike!

This is the score from the second game. Brian kicked our butts! I was just grateful to break 100. Both the boys scored higher in the first game. I did not break 100.

We walked around this super cute town for a bit and had some yummy ice cream. Mine was called Lake Geneva Mud, it was amazing!

Carson was very disappointed we didn't get in the lake. He wanted to swim. As we were about to head home Brian pulled over so he could get in the lake.

The water was freezing!

Mason loved skipping rocks. He said he skipped rocks at high adventure a lot. He did pretty good.

The boys jumped in the bed of the truck while we drove across the road so Carson could change into dry clothes.

Instead of going directly home we stopped at Cabela's. I don't think the boys have ever been. We all had a turn at shooting.

Mason is a great shot!

We recorded the afternoon session since we got distracted coming home. Brian and Mason are downstairs watching Priesthood session now. The talks I did hear were great as always. I'm truly looking forward to listening to more tomorrow.
